Cisco Network Operations - Network Technician

Compensation: DoE with benefit (Medical/Vision/Dental)

Employment Type: full-time

Job purpose

The Network Operations - Field Technician dispatches to Customer premise to install service and resolve onsite networking issues. Additional responsibilities include configuring network hardware, network troubleshooting/design/implementation, generating new service order requests, and any other functions that assist in the operation of the Network Operations Department. The primary goal is to be a self-sufficient troubleshooter who works quickly, accurately, and professionally.

Qualifications

Resourcefulness is a BIG part of our company. We look for self-starters who want to continually grow their knowledge. Because of that, training is a BIG part of our company. If you need the training, figure out what will work, present it, and we'll get it for you. This position will primarily be office based with occasional field work as needed.

  • 1+ year of Linux experience, experience as network administrator/engineer a big plus
  • Demonstrates basic networking knowledge and understanding of IP networks
  • Basic understanding of WiFi and other wireless technology
  • Experience with Cisco switches, experience with MikroTik routers a big plus
  • Experience with VoIP/Asterisk a plus
  • Ability to learn a web-based ticketing system
  • Ability to research, identify, solve, speak up and bring attention to problems
  • Possess strong customer service skills
  • CCNA a big plus, as well.

 

 


Network Operations Technician

Job Purpose

The Network Operations Tech takes and logs support calls, while working to resolve as many customer issues as possible. Additional responsibilities include configuring network hardware, network troubleshooting/design/implementation, generating new service order requests, and any other functions that assist in the operation of the Network Operations Department. The primary goal is to be a self-sufficient troubleshooter who works quickly, accurately, and professionally.

VoIP/Network Helpdesk Technician

Job Purpose

We are seeking a few individuals who have that self-starter attitude and a passion for customer service focused technical support to step into our open Tier 1 and 2 Telecommunications Support positions. You would be a part of our tight knit support team. The position is responsible for facilitating daily operations including, but not limited to, taking support calls, logging, and resolving customer issues. Additional responsibilities include to pre-configure hardware, dial-plan troubleshooting, configuration, implementation, and any other function that assists in the operation of the Support Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take and Troubleshoot Customer Support Calls and Tickets (70%)
    Generate a support ticket for each unrelated inbound customer service request
    Diagnose, troubleshoot and implement resolutions for support tickets
  • Assist in configuration and implementation of customer dialplans (15%)
  • Assist customer in creation of dialplan
  • Configure, implement and test dialplan configuration
  • Assist in configuration of new and existing customer hardware (10%)
  • Pre-provision hardware before deployment to customer
  • Connect hardware, both onsite and/or assist customer remotely
  • Other duties as assigned (5%)

Qualifications

  • Experience using PCAPs to analyze/diagnose/troubleshoot VoIP issues ***heavy preference***
  • 1-3 years of Linux experience (personal or professional)
  • Experience with VoIP/Asterisk based PBXs
  • Basic knowledge of IP networks
  • Prefer at least one (1) year of help desk experience

Administrative Assistant

Job Purpose

We are seeking an organized, friendly and proactive administrative assistant to join our team. You will work directly with the team to ensure all administrative tasks are efficiently and effectively implemented. Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, scheduling and a wide breadth of experience with clerical responsibilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule project meetings and other project related events
  • Conduct customer project meetings and other related project events in the absence of the Project Manager
  • Assist Accounting with projects and other administrative tasks
  • Send reminders regarding upcoming appointments
  • Manage communication of information in and out of the office
  • Ensure existing projects are kept organized at all times
  • Create and maintain customer project files within company databases
  • Maintain positive and professional staff and client relationships
  • Ensure all projects are implemented to company standards and customer’s expectations
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Excellent ability to communicate clearly and effective orally and in writing

  • Ability to maintain organized and accurate records/files preferred

Low Voltage Installer/Technician

Compensation: DoE with benefit (Medical/Vision/Dental)

Employment Type: full-time

Job Purpose

We are seeking an individual who is a self-starter with a passion for self-education to step into our Low Voltage Installer/Technician position. The ideal candidate would possess a C7 license and have four or more years of experience with low voltage cabling. Knowledge of dial tone services and phone systems is considered a bonus when applying for this position.

Job Duties

  • Daily service calls/project installations
  • Installation of small, medium and large cable projects, while working with Cat 5, Cat 6, Fiber and RG6 either individually or as part of a cabling team.Label, terminate, test and certify all installed cables
  • Ability to work in various environments, service situations within dynamic conditions
  • Mount and install various pre-provisioned hardware to specification

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated individual
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess current C7 license a huge plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot various situations in an efficient manner.
  • Resolve an array of cabling problems
  • High attention to detail
  • Ensure an exceptional Customer Service experience
  • Working knowledge of industry safety standards
  • Minimum of four (4) years experience with low voltage cabling, heavy preference for candidates possessing a current C7 license
  • Submit proof of clean driving record to company to operate a company vehicle OR have a personal vehicle capable of carrying ladders and other related job material.
